What Carries Us Through
Friday, July 3–Thursday, July 30, 2026
Through the journey of an artist's practice their technique sharpens, their ideas evolve, and their process is usually reshaped by years of looking, making, and unmaking, often informed by their lived experiences. Beneath all of this growth, a voice is developed and a way of seeing emerges that remains recognizably one's own.
What Carries Us Through invites artists to trace that unique voice and identify what carries through, not just time, but their practice and discipline even as it is tested, stretched, and reshaped by all that has been learned and lived along the way. In reflection artists share:
- What they recognize has changed over the years? - What did they find to remain consistent?
- What surprised them about seeing these works together?
- What can they identify as their thread (voice) as an artist?
